1. Are your items made to order?
We offer a considered blend of ready-to-ship and made-to-order pieces.
Approximately 80% of our collection is available for immediate dispatch, while a select 20% is made to order. Please refer to the product description, where this will be clearly highlighted for each item. Feel free to contact us at co.nautili@gmail.com if you require more information.



2. Why do you still offer made-to-order?

Our made-to-order pieces are thoughtfully handcrafted once your order is placed, allowing us to minimise waste and honour our commitment to conscious, ocean-inspired design. This approach ensures each piece is created with intention - never excess.

 


3. When will my order be dispatched?

Ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order pieces, please allow 1–2 weeks for production prior to dispatch. During collection launches or promotional periods, this may extend to 3–4 weeks. If you require your order by a specific date, we encourage you to reach out - we will always do our best to accommodate where possible.

 

4. How do I find my tracking number?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details. Please note, the most accurate tracking information will always be provided via email. We recommend not relying solely on the Shop App for updates.



5. Will there be restocks?

In most cases, no. Many of our pieces are crafted using carefully sourced deadstock fabrics, available only in limited quantities. Once a fabric is sold out, it is rarely restocked. This approach preserves the exclusivity of each design while supporting our commitment to reducing environmental impact.



6. How do I care for my garment?

Each Nautili piece is delicately crafted and thoughtfully embellished.

To preserve its beauty:

  • Cold hand wash only

  • Do not machine wash

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Do not bleach

  • Dry flat in shade

  • Do not iron unless specified on your care label


7. How do I choose the right size?
We offer a range of detailed size charts and fit guidance to assist you in finding your perfect fit. Our pieces are designed based on standard sizing. For those who prefer additional coverage, we recommend sizing up. If you’re unsure, we welcome you to reach out - our team is always happy to offer personalised guidance.

 

8. Can I exchange or return my item?
Due to the delicate and intimate nature of our swimwear, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind. We kindly ask that you choose carefully when placing your order. Please note, ALL made-to-order and sale items are final sale.

If your item arrives faulty or not as described, we sincerely apologise. Please contact us with supporting evidence and we will arrange a suitable resolution in line with Australian Consumer Law. This may include a repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.

 

9. Can I cancel or make changes to my order?
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.

As many of our pieces are made to order or processed quickly for dispatch, production may begin immediately. If you need to make an urgent change, please contact us as soon as possible - we will always do our best to assist where we can, however changes are not guaranteed.

 

10. Can I request custom sizing or alterations?
We offer custom sizing and minor alterations on selected pieces (made-to-order styles). If you require a more tailored fit, please reach out to us prior to placing your order so we can advise on what is possible for your chosen style.

 

11. Are your pieces lined?
Yes -  all Nautili pieces are crafted using double-layered fabric for a supportive, premium feel and added coverage. We only use the highest quality fabircs.


12. How is Nautili sustainable?
We are committed to conscious production through the use of deadstock fabrics and a reduced made-to-order model. By producing in limited quantities and avoiding excess stock, we minimise waste while maintaining the exclusivity of each piece.

 

13. Are all of your pieces made in Australia?
All of our swimwear and resort pieces are proudly made in Australia. We carefully source fabrics and work with local manufacturers to ensure each piece is crafted with attention to detail and quality. Our activewear, on the other hand, is thoughtfully produced overseas using specialized fabrics to deliver performance, comfort and durability.
